Bergen BLITE-400PS: Temporary Lighting In Action

10/23/2017

Sometimes it's useful to see what a lighting product looks like in action, and we caught the Bergen BLITE-400PS at work the other day in a bank that is being remodeled. These are temporary high bay fixtures based on metal halide lighting technology, and they're used to provide light in construction settings until permanent lighting is installed.

The 400PS stands for its 400W pulse start metal halide lamp. It comes with a 3' cord, and is designed to provide adequate construction lighting at 15'. This one is much lower, but is actually being used as temporary lighting for the bank during business hours, so the lower height is necessary for banking work.

While this is a popular option for temporary lighting, there are also LED options, which you can find on our site here.
