![]() Incandescent #47 bulbs are small indicator lamps used in places like flashlights, older cars, and pinball machines. Just over an inch long and less than 1/2" wide, these miniature bulbs only use about 1 watt of energy, are rated 6.3V, and come with a miniature bayonet base (Ba9s). Historically a popular lamp for these indicator uses, in today's age of LED it makes a lot of sense to upgrade with a #47 bulb LED replacement to likely eliminate the need for replacing the bulb again ... practically forever. (Ours come with a 100,000 hour rating.) And while energy savings of less than 1 watt may not add up to much in a single lamp, they can add up in settings like a pinball machine where many are used at once, especially if the machine is left on all the time. The nice thing with these LED replacements is that they can substitute for a wide variety of miniature lamps because they can be used with a range of input voltages. This is different from the incandescent lamps made for specific input voltage. We list all the miniature lamps replaced by this LED (linked to above), and we carry plenty of other LED miniatures as well, including those in different colors. We hope this selection helps you to upgrade once and for all!
